1998 Racing Champions Stock Rods ’66 Chevy Nova

The last of the non Hot Wheels items in the JG Collection is this colorful Nova from the 1998 Racing Champions Stock Rods. This series posed the question, “What if your favorite drivers traded in their stock cars to race in a classic hot rod from the past?” This ’66 Chevy Nova wears the familiar Kellogg’s Corn Flakes #5 livery that Terry Labonte had on his Chevrolet Lumina (and later a  Monte Carlo) after he began racing with Hendrick Motorsports in 1994.

I actually have a few more of the Racing Champions Stock Rods, still in there packages – and believe it or not, one of them has a different Terry Labonte Kellogg’s #5 livery – which you can see by clicking here.
